I believe that great software has the power to change the world for the better and we need to relentlessy improve.
I am a positive, high energy person. I believe positive energy is contagious and can change those around you.
I am unique and can bring a hard-to-find perspective to the DU Leadership Team.

I am comfortable operating in areas of uncertainty with little guidance and I thrive in challenging environments.
I can balance well between strategic thinking and tactical problem solving.
I understand the UDM operations well, and would require extremely little ramp up time.
I love to nurture innovation and am constantly looking for connections between topics, technologies, and problems.

I believe it is possible for organizations to be better, faster, AND cheaper.
And because I believe in over-delivering on my commitments, I'll give one additional reason:

Five Focuses for UDM:
Continue our improvements in creating world class Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI&CD) inside UDM and DUIT. We've made tremendous progress, but we need to do more to create a culture of making the best software in the world.
Work with our Product Line and the most promising Regions to increase UDM Net Sales by:
- engaging directly with our lead customers to focus more on co-development, customer-delight, and producing value that customers will willingly pay for.
- creating a small powerful team of 'customer engagement' engineers to assist with consulting our customers and upselling functionality. R&D can be a fantastic sales force and there is still unneccessary friction in selling and supporting UDM.
Make major changes in the HSS product organization and revitalize the group's culture. HSS is one of UDM's main engines for growth.
Together with Product Line, smartly reduce our Cost of Sales, to boost our Product Contribution to Ericsson. This will be accomplished by:
- architectural changes to reduce the cost of high MySQL licenses
- continuing to scrutinize and reduce Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) claims
- continuing to standardize HLR market adaptations, to avoid the cost of repeating the CoS for every SW release.
Re-imagining how we market and deliver our software to entice our customers to frequently take the latest-and-greatest UDM software.
